Description: Attachment of kojic acid to peptides improved the effectiveness of tyrosinase inhibitory activity of kojic acid. The best compound, kojic acid-FWY, exhibited 100-fold tyrosinase inhibitory activity compared with kojic acid alone. In addition, storage stability was approximately 15 times higher and toxicity was lower than that of kojic acid.
