Description: Won and Ianoul found the peptide pEM-2 (KKWRWWLKALAKK) to be more extensively incorporated in anionic monolayers (dioleoylphosphatidylglycerol and E. coli lipid extract) than in a zwitterionic dioleoylphosphatidylcholine monolayer at low surface pressures (7.5 mN/m), as well as continued peptide incorporation (although quantitatively smaller) in the anionic monolayers, but complete exclusion of the peptide from the zwitterionic monolayer at high surface pressure (30 mN/m).
